About Jess Riley
Jess grew up riding Arabians and Morgans and then had the opportunity start formal dressage lessons while in college at UVM. While at school Jess fell in love with Dressage and developed the skills to be hired as an assistant trainer upon graduation. She has since had the opportunity to work with a variety of horses and so she approaches each horse as an individual. Gymnastic exercises, classical principles, and a respect of the horse's mental and physical aptitudes all need to be considered when developing a training program. While Jess' primary focus has been on training, she has and does do some competing. Jess has received multiple Year End Awards, All Breeds Awards, and she does enjoy showing and taking customers to shows. Jess has been professionally training horses and riders for 25+ years.
